Heather Marshall (she/her) is a queer, disabled, multi award winning, socio political artist and writer. She often works under the company name Creative Electric where she creates theatre, live art and tape art with and for people that may not traditionally engage in the arts due to social and/or financial barriers. She is an associate artist at the Fruitmarket Gallery where she facilitates projects for young people who identify as autistic, ADHD or are experiencing mental ill health.

Heather is currently working on an adaption of Medusa, written in contemporary Scots, that explores the impact of hormones on a menstruating person's mental health and challenges the perception that Medusa was a monster. The project has been supported by Playwrights Studio Scotland, Stellar Quines and Creative Scotland. Heather has created work for local, national and international organisations including Edinburgh International Festival, National Theatre of Scotland, ITAC4 New York, ITAC5 Seoul, ITAC6 Oslo, BOP, Imaginate, LeithLate, British Art Show 8, Touretteshero, BAC, Dance Base and Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

Throughout these connections she has focused on elevating and celebrating voices that may not traditionally be heard within their communities. Website: www.creative-electric.org; Instagram: instagram.com/creative_electric/; Twitter: twitter.com/Creativelectric.
