ITAC’s Managing Director Madeleine McGirk also recently traveled to the UAE to participate in the UNESCO World Conference on Culture and Arts Education, joining culture ministers and leaders from across the world to collectively set the global framework for the next 10 years.
2024 will be a big year for ITAC. We look forward to hosting a range of thought-provoking virtual conversations, publishing free resources, expanding our ITAC Hubs...not to mention ITAC7 in New Zealand! Stay tuned for exciting announcements to come.

In addition to ITAC Innovator José Ángel Salazar Marín's (Greece/Venezuela) recently published Action Research Handbook for Teaching Artists, ITAC Innovator Becky Baumwoll (USA) just completed her culminating project, Nonverbal Teaching Artistry Toolkit.
This month, ITAC's Managing Director Madeleine McGirk was invited to Denmark to participate in the World Health Organization's (WHO) first global Arts and Health meeting. She also attended the Inner Development Goals Summit in Stockholm, which featured a dynamic workshop from ITAC Innovator Sangeeta Isvaran. Natural points of alignment through teaching artistry continue to abound!
