Madeleine McGirk

Madeleine McGirk - UK, ITAC Manager

Madeleine McGirk is the Manager of the ITAC Collaborative. She works with our Leadership Committee and Catalysts to implement and oversee all of ITACs development and progress internationally. This includes coordinating our projects, Think Tank sessions and all other aspects of the Collaborative.

Madeleine is also the Executive Director of the Scottish European Educational Trust (SEET), a national educational organisation based in Scotland which works to encourage international education and language learning through innovative practices. She initially joined SEET to lead their citizenship in film making initiative, which utilises arts based approaches to learning to facilitate self expression and multilingual storytelling.

With a background in Theatre and Film, Madeleine still performs as an Actor, primarily focusing on new writing and contemporary work. She is a graduate of the University of Glasgow with an MA (hons) in Theatre and Film, and during her studies spent a year training at the University of Illinois. She also holds an HSK2 in Mandarin Chinese. Madeleine is passionate about her work in the arts and education, and committed to furthering international connectivity in our field and beyond.
